Anti-Spam Policy

This policy describes how ParkVille LLC, the company that operates the Moderoo website builder, contacts people and how we advertise the websites we build. It applies to every domain we operate, including moderoo.com and moderoo-sites.com, and to every sample website we host.

If you believe any message or page connected with Moderoo breaches this policy, write to contact@moderoo.com. We investigate every report, and any page you ask us to remove is deleted immediately.

1. No unsolicited advertising of our websites

We do not advertise moderoo.com, moderoo-sites.com, or any website we host through unsolicited bulk email, unsolicited bulk messaging, or any other form of unsolicited advertising. We do not send links to the sample websites we build to anyone who has not asked to see them.

2. No third-party senders

We operate no affiliate programme, no reseller programme, and no referral programme. We do not authorise any third party to send messages advertising our websites on our behalf, and we do not purchase, rent, or exchange mailing lists for advertising purposes. Nobody but ParkVille LLC sends mail relating to our domains.

3. How we contact business owners

We build sample websites for small businesses using their own publicly available information, and we contact the business owner to ask whether they would like to see the one we built for them. That first message contains no link to the sample site. We send the address of the sample site only in direct reply to someone who has asked us for it.

4. Every message we send

Every message we send:

• comes from our own authenticated mail servers, with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC in place;
• identifies who we are and carries a valid physical postal address;
• uses an honest subject line that reflects the contents of the message;
• includes a working one-click unsubscribe mechanism, both as a visible link and in the message headers.

We honour opt-out requests immediately and permanently. The address is suppressed from all future contact, and any sample website we built for that business is deleted.

5. Every sample website we build

Every sample website we publish:

• carries a visible notice identifying it as built by Moderoo and stating that we are not affiliated with the business;
• offers a one-click button that deletes the page immediately, with no account and no form to fill in;
• is served with X-Robots-Tag: noindex, nofollow, so it is never indexed by search engines;
• is deleted automatically if the business owner has not claimed it within 14 days.

6. Reporting a violation

If you have received a message you believe breaches this policy, or you have found a page you would like taken down, contact us and we will act on it straight away.
